To compete in the Northern Virginia Regional MATHCOUNTS competition, schools and Non-School Competitors (NSCs) must first register on the MATHCOUNTS Foundation’s website Register for MATHCOUNTS.

Coaches, who are often teachers or parents, work with the Mathletes to foster their interest in math and to prepare them for the competitions.  For additional information or questions about coaching, please contact coaches@novamathcounts.org.
